In my e-courses I share the tools that have helped me write a new narrative for myself after my life exploded. Writing allowed me to re-write my grief into a story of transformation. Reawakening my creativity, watching the world through the lens of my camera and connecting to my inner core through writing, helped me heal and grow. I believe that every sinkhole is a turning point in our narrative. I know that joy can follow after grief. We all have access to the tools to re-write our stories. We are the authors of our lives.

MINDFUL JOURNALING
THE ART OF DEEP LISTENING
In this 6 week course I introduce you to the mindfulness practice of deep listening. We use carefully curated journaling prompts and original sound bowl meditations to cultivate contemplative stillness and creative absorption. When we silence the busy thinking mind, we are able to hear our deepest voice.
The Zen monk Thich Nhat Hanh teaches deep listening as a form of compassionate listening. Mindful journaling allows us to become compassionate witness to our personal narratives. We gain deeper understanding of our life’s purpose, we access our creative potential and we become connected and present to ourselves and others.

WRITING TO HEAL
Whether we write for publication or for ourselves, writing is an effective way of identifying the patterns and turning points of our personal narratives, to let go of the stories we tell ourselves and to discover the voice of our soul. It is our soul that writes our biography.
In this course you will learn how to let your creativity flow so that it can nourish and heal you.
We use creative self-expression and journaling techniques to go deep inside.
We use our sharpened pencils to poke our soft inner core. Healing and creativity flow from the same source.

YOGA FOR WRITERS
Essential poses for anyone who spends a lot of time sitting at the desk.
In this course I introduce you to a few easy sequences you can do at home or at work to release tight shoulders and hips, stiff necks and aching lower backs. There will also be a sequence of ‘chair yoga’ poses. That’s right, chair yoga can be done in the office chair in front of your computer. All you need to do is remove your jacket and shoes. The course also includes helpful tips on how to start and keep a routine and how to combine your yoga routine with breathing exercises and simple mindfulness meditation techniques.
I discovered yoga by accident as a student. To relieve my sore writer’s back, I started doing a few stretches on the floor next to the desk. It worked wonders and yoga has been part of my self-care regime ever since.
